FOWS would like to wish all its members, supporters and readers, a very Happy New Year and we would like to give a massive thank you, for all the help and support you have given in 2017. We would also like to give a special thank you to those individuals, not necessarily associated with the Academy but who have offered their time, knowledge and advice, free of charge, to try and help us achieve our goals. It was with grateful thanks that FOWS took delivery of a cheque for £300 which NISA had been kind enough to donate to the playground fund. Special thanks goes to Chris Tozer for putting the playground project forward as a potential recipient.
We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to the anonymous benefactor who kindly donated £50 to the Playground Regeneration Project. Such generosity is gratefully appreciated by the academy pupils, parents and staff.
The total of funds raised to date can now be found on the Playground Project totaliser page. The first target is £13K and the totaliser will be filled in, in £500 increments. So start spreading the word and let’s reach our first target sooner rather than later and take a step towards giving the academy children the playground they so richly deserve. Thank you for your continued support.
