It was with grateful thanks that FOWS took delivery of a cheque for £300 which NISA had been kind enough to donate to the playground fund. Special thanks goes to Chris Tozer for putting the playground project forward as a potential recipient.
We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to the anonymous benefactor who kindly donated £50 to the Playground Regeneration Project. Such generosity is gratefully appreciated by the academy pupils, parents and staff.
The total of funds raised to date can now be found on the Playground Project totaliser page. The first target is £13K and the totaliser will be filled in, in £500 increments. So start spreading the word and let’s reach our first target sooner rather than later and take a step towards giving the academy children the playground they so richly deserve. ‘Presents for Parents’ is a Christmas fundraiser which has proved very popular and successful over recent years. Being a small school, it doesn’t generate huge sums of money but the children love it and it’s a great activity to be involved with. Continue reading
